Redscale in the Snow

This is a concept I came up with, and I was so excited when my friend agreed to work with me on this shoot. The first photos are Kodak Gold 200, shot on the Pentax 6×7. But the real fun is the second set, these photos are redscaled. Redscaling is the process of flipping the film backwards, and reloading it into the cassette. So when loaded in the camera, the light passes through the film from the back, which exposes the red layer first and creates this really fun effect. This is Fujifilm Press 400 shot through the Pentax MX.
